Community guidelines

2life only works because people can trust each other. These rules keep the marketplace safe. Breaking them means we’ll remove the content, and repeat or serious breaches can get your account banned.

What you can't list

Don't post any of the following. When in doubt, leave it out.

  • Weapons & firearms

    Guns, ammunition, knives sold as weapons, and replicas designed to look real.

  • Drugs & paraphernalia

    Illegal drugs, vapes/tobacco to minors, and equipment for using them.

  • Sexual or adult content

    Pornography, sexual services, or sexually explicit imagery.

  • Counterfeit & stolen goods

    Fakes, replicas passed off as genuine, or anything you don't own the right to sell.

  • Recalled or unsafe goods

    Recalled products, expired food, or items that fail safety standards.

  • Hazardous materials

    Fireworks, flammable or toxic chemicals, and other dangerous goods.

  • Live animals

    Pets and livestock — use a dedicated, regulated service instead.

  • Anything illegal

    Items or services that break Australian law, plus prescription medicines.

How to behave

Treat everyone the way you'd want to be treated.

  • Be respectful

    No harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive language in chat.

  • No scams or fraud

    Don't deceive buyers or sellers, ask for payment off-platform to dodge protections, or phish for details.

  • No spam

    Don't post duplicate or misleading listings, or send unsolicited bulk messages.

  • Trade honestly

    Describe items accurately and follow through on agreed meetups and deals.
